As principal of GBG, Georgi Bohrod is known for her role in educating the public and continually positioning the Shared Ownership industry including Timeshares, Fractional, Private Residence Club and Destination Club as attractive vacation opportunities. A designated RRP (Registered Resort Professional), she has received awards for collateral material design, interactive media design and public relations campaigns. She serves on the Meetings Committee and Communications Committee of ARDA. She is a founding board member of WIN, Women in the Industry. She is also a member in good standing of PRSA (Public Relations Society of America).

Bohrod began her affiliation with the timesharing industry with Winners Circle Resorts International, which eventually evolved into Grand Pacific Resorts. A quarter of a century later, she is still instrumental in marketing and PR strategies for these entities. Her first timeshare position was with The Carlsbad Inn, currently managed by Grand Pacific Resort Management which recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary with GBG & Associates primarily responsible for the publicity activities surrounding that event.

After piloting her own company for a decade, she left to become in house Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Resort Communications where she spearheaded the marketing, design and public relations campaign for the merger of that firm and International Resort Management into ResortCom International, a leading financial and management services firm in San Diego. She currently represents the company as its PR and business marketing counsel.

GBG was also instrumental in the industry brand positioning and consumer public relations campaign for the World’s Finest Resorts, an exchange organization for fractional and private residence clubs which was eventually sold to Cendant as the hub of its Registry Collection.

At the beginning of 2007, Georgi Bohrod & Associates changed its name to GBG & Associates to reflect its expanded scope of services and growing client base.

Clients appreciate Bohrod’s hands on approach and thorough understanding of the business to business market in the industry. As a Chairman’s League member of ARDA, WIN Committee Member, and active leader in ARDA, she is well positioned to be in close contact not only with trade media (print, electronic and social) but also with the key decision makers, many of whom she has worked with for years.
